How to see a Doctor or a Nurse
Appointments can be made on the telephone.
If you have a preference which practitioner you wish to see please inform the receptionist. Please note your preferred practitioner may not always be available.
Consultations are by 10 minute appointments. Please cancel appointments if you are unable to keep them.
One Problem Per Appointment
Following on from recent feedback we are trying to raise awareness across our group of surgeries of our one problem per appointment policy. Next time you visit us you may see the following posters in the waiting room or consulting room. As an organisation we value patient feedback highly and always welcome ideas and suggestions of how we can deliver our services better.
We politely ask patients to one discuss one problem per appointment.
This helps ensure clinics run to schedule and other patients aren’t inconvenienced. If you need an additional appointment to discuss further problems, our receptionist will only be too happy to help.
Longer appointments, based on clinical need are available on request, these will be triaged before we can book them
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In January 2014 we changed our online service to Patient Access via Patient.co.uk
This new service will allow for repeat prescription requests direct to the Doctors, real time appointment booking, change of details and allow our patients to access their own clinical records.
You and will need to register via the below link and will be required to verify your identity with us to be able to book real time appointments.
Please register and follow the on screen instructions or ask the reception team to fully register you on your next visit to the surgery.
Telephone Availability
If you would like to speak with a GP via the telephone, please ask the receptionist who will book a time for a GP to call you back. Please note, our Doctors/Nurses will attempt to contact you twice but unfortunately unanswered calls will result in the appointment being lost.
Book Appointments Online
We are pleased to provide patients with access to its Clinical System via a Secure Web Interface, so they can book appointments online.
To use Patient Access (EMIS) you will need a Practice ID number and an Access ID number which is obtained from the practice, and, in conjunction with a password, will be unique to you.
